Billions of stars, Blanket the night. All different sizes. All shine so bright. You might just see them, If you turn out the light. Let us lay back, And relish the sight Of the stars That blanket the night.

There was a girl. Her name was Sun. She fell in love, So she come undone. She met the moon, Thought  him the one. Poor naive Sun. He'd  only come  to visit, In the  night. He'd  block her out, And then he'd  steal her light. And when the morning dawned, Moon drifted out of sight. That mean ol' Moon. On the  painful days, The sun would cry. She'd  nestle in the clouds, And try to hide. Still the moon would find her, Every night, That tearful Sun. Poor dull Sun, She loved her moon. He'd  make her cry, Still he made her swoon. And if she let him go, Her world would be in ruin. What could she do? Maybe one day she'll  let go, Of the moon.
